God

This page is designed to educate those who are interested in my personal beliefs of God. This page is written by Cerberus (Christopher Pace).

God, or more correctly YWH (pronounced 'Yaweh', the spelling results from the Jewish tradition of stripping the vowels from his name to prevent it from being prounounced, lest it be taken in vain), is the creator of all that is, all that was, and all that ever will be. Everything that is made was created through him and nothing that was made wasnt through him.

YWH sent his son to be sacrificed by man so that he may, through his bloodshed ( bloodshed is required to forgive sins), enable the world to be forgiven without sacrifice. His son, Jesus Christ, was the ultimate sacrifice. Because of this sacrifice, anyone who is willing may have their trespasses forgiven through him.

There are three parts that compose of YWH, the first is God, or the father. The second is Jesus Christ, or the son. The third is the holy spirit. The holy spirit is believed to be the Angel Gabriel. However, my theory behind this follows the Celtic philosophy: The holy spirit is within every living thing in the world. What is believed to be the life force, or aura, of a person is the holy spirit. My reasoning for this is best described as when someone creates something that they have spent much time and effort in. That creation means a lot to that person, they put a little of themselves into it. Now, think of when YWH created us, he spent so much attention to detail and love into creating us that a little of him (recall that the holy spirit is a part of YWH) came into us. This was when YWH breathed the first breath of life into Adam, the first man to be created.

My religion is called Celtic Christianity, which is a blend of ancient Celtic beliefs and Christianity. Celtic teaches that nature is the closest way to YWH (because the holy spirit is in all living things, also Jesus preached mostly in natural settings). Inner peace is attained through the enlightenment of YWH and Jesus Christ and the holy spirit. Once someone has accepted all of these things, inner peace will soon follow.
